Destination XL Group (DXL) is the largest omni-channel specialty retailer for big-and-tall menswear, operating multiple brands and carrying thousands of unique styles (5,000+). Because many factories don’t normally produce DXL’s larger, specialty sizes and technical fabrics, the company faced complex design, sourcing and inventory challenges — plus costly packing errors and chargebacks as it scaled stores and e-commerce.

DXL implemented NGC’s Extended PLM (with Global Sourcing/Supply Chain) and is rolling out NGC EZ-Ship Scan/Pack. The PLM streamlined development, improved supplier communication and visibility, and raised on-time delivery, quality and compliance to over 98% in 2015 (from 85–90% previously). EZ-Ship validates carton contents, reduces chargebacks and packing errors, and integrates with DXL’s SCM/ERP/EDI systems for more accurate, timely shipments.
