The University Of Toledo Deploys Room Booking Technology From NFS

The University of Toledo’s Health Science Campus Inter-professional Immersive Simulation Center (IISCTM) needed a better way to schedule its high-demand training rooms, classrooms, and simulation equipment. The existing process relied on printed paper and created inefficiencies for staff, faculty, and students, so the university looked for a more streamlined room and resource booking solution from NFS Technology, using its Rendezvous software.

NFS Technology implemented Rendezvous to manage rooms, resources, and simulation equipment in one system, with self-service requests through Outlook/Exchange and configurable rules, user rights, and automated room release via sensors. The result was improved scheduling efficiency, better internal communication, and stronger reporting for facility utilization, with the system expected to pay for itself many times over within the first year.
