How a Major Event Centre Transformed Conference Room Booking

The Centre of Health & Safety Innovation (CHSI), home to multiple internal non-profit partners and many external corporate clients, needed a better way to manage a high volume of conference room, training room, and event-space bookings. With many room types, changing reservations, and different pricing needs for different customer groups, CHSI turned to NFS Technology and its Rendezvous room booking software to bring order to a complex scheduling process.

NFS Technology implemented Rendezvous as a web-based booking and management system that let CHSI assign color-coded reservation statuses, set different price points for non-profits and retail customers, and give multiple staff members access while keeping the Corporate Event Centre in control. The result was a system that was quick to deploy, easy to use for reporting, audit trails, and invoicing, and supported by responsive customer service. According to CHSI, Rendezvous has been in use for more than four years and has made it far easier to manage bookings across 27 rooms and spaces for groups of 8 to 288 attendees.
