Cardiff City Hall and Cardiff Castle needed a better way to manage bookings across two historic venues with very different event requirements. Handling conferences, weddings, receptions, meetings, and corporate functions was creating pressure on staff, with too much paperwork, duplicated information, and a constant need to keep diaries, customer details, and room availability accurate.
NFS Technology implemented its Rendezvous Events conference management software to streamline scheduling, customer management, catering, and resource planning. The system reduced paperwork, eliminated duplicate data entry, prevented double-booking, and helped staff convert enquiries into business more efficiently. According to the customer, it also freed staff to spend more time with clients and made the venues’ operations much easier to manage.
