WYCOKCK Kansas, the consolidated government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas, faced a growing, inefficient records request process managed by paper, heavy faxing, no response‑time tracking, and duplicate requests. In 2016 the Unified Government Clerk’s Office selected NextRequest’s records management software to modernize how requests were received and tracked, and the Municipal Court soon adopted the platform after confirming request privacy.

NextRequest implemented a paperless, trackable portal across departments with training and onboarding support, enabling the Court and other agencies to manage requests more efficiently. As a result, WYCOKCK Kansas has processed 5,639 requests, added 19,179 documents to the portal and recorded 31,927 document downloads, demonstrating improved transparency and faster, more reliable records handling with NextRequest.
