A NextPage Case Study
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), the largest Christian sports organization in America with 400 field offices, needed a way to deliver more effective donor communications while reducing costs. With about 200,000 donations each year from roughly 70,000 donors, FCA wanted personalized thank-you and giving-idea messages sent from both the field and national offices, while honoring each donor’s preference for mail or email. NextPage helped address this with a print automation approach.
NextPage created a system that automated personalized donor receipts and allowed FCA to send communications by mail or email in the recipient’s preferred format. The solution used direct mail and email templates with individualized greetings and timely marketing messages, and it could automatically switch to mailed receipts if an email bounced or preferences changed. As a result, FCA saved more than $25,000 in postage alone, while improving flexibility, relevance, and donor communication efficiency.
