Gladstone Community Center worked with NextPage to increase awareness of its new location and programs so it could generate more memberships. Because the center was away from the suburb’s main thoroughfares, many potential members did not know it was there or what it offered.
NextPage developed a direct mail campaign to promote the center’s opening, location, and fitness programs. The campaign used research to build a database of 5,000 high-potential prospects, personalized postcards with family names, and PURLs to drive recipients online and RSVP for events; it helped the center plan staffing and grow prospect lists. The effort won a “Most Innovative Solution” award and a gold award, and more than 5% of recipients who received the two mailings became members, well above industry standards.
