Rockwell Collins - Customer Case Study

Rockwell Collins, a global aerospace and defense company, needed to improve collaboration among product teams across more than 150 countries while protecting intellectual property and complying with export laws. The company also wanted to speed access to technical data, reduce manual processes, and support consistent policy enforcement across systems such as Enovia, SAP, Microsoft SharePoint, and file servers. To address these challenges, Rockwell Collins turned to NextLabs and its Information Risk Management solution.

NextLabs implemented a policy-driven, attribute-based access control framework that dynamically enforced export authorizations in real time, supported reporting and auditing, and reduced the need for custom coding. The solution allowed compliance teams to define rules without IT involvement and enabled foreign employees to access approved data faster while maintaining compliance. As a result, Rockwell Collins improved global engineering collaboration and productivity, reduced manual administration and auditing costs, and lowered compliance risk.
