Bombardier, a global transportation company, needed a cost-effective way to train and engage its 35,000 global employees on new talent management processes across multiple languages and cultures. Their primary challenge was overcoming low engagement with infrequently used software through traditional training methods. They partnered with the vendor Nexthink and AppLearn to implement a communication and training strategy.
The solution developed with AppLearn involved creating 72 on-demand video tutorials available in nine languages, which were embedded directly into the system for 24/7 access. The result was extremely high engagement, with Bombardier's change manager reporting a 97% view rate across 23 countries within just a few days of the release.
