Eye Associates of New Mexico is one of the largest comprehensive eye care practices in the U.S., operating 15 clinics, two surgery centers and 11 optical shops with a staff of 50 ophthalmologists and optometrists. Rapid growth—from 27 to 50 providers—and a wide range of ophthalmic sub‑specialties created a need for a flexible, integrated EHR/PM/document management solution to standardize workflows, support multiple locations and improve communication and patient transparency.

The practice implemented NextGen solutions (Ambulatory EHR, Document Management, Practice Management, Patient Portal and NextGen Share) and built standardized sub‑specialty templates to streamline provider workflows.
