HealtheConnections, a regional health information organization in central New York serving more than one million consenting patients and over 400 participating organizations, needed faster, more reliable access to consolidated patient records, better reporting, and a scalable, cost-effective HIE platform — all while migrating off a struggling vendor without any system downtime.

They implemented Mirth solutions (including Mirth Connect, Match, Results, Mail and Analytics) and migrated 50 million records from 27+ sources in six months with zero downtime. The move cut operating costs by roughly 20–25—saving in excess of $1M annually—expanded connected data sources from 27 to 72, improved EHR integration and reporting, and delivered a flexible, scalable platform that supports growth and faster clinical access.
