Silicon Valley Museum Powers Smart Infrastructure with Nexsan Storage

The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California needed to modernize its aging IT environment to support its Smart Museum initiative, which delivers personalized, real-time exhibit content to thousands of visitors. To meet these demands, the museum worked with Nexsan and solution provider Peak IP Solutions to evaluate a scalable storage platform, including the Nexsan E-Series SAN.

Nexsan implemented an E-Series storage solution with 10G iSCSI connectivity alongside Cisco switches and servers, giving the museum a high-density, reliable, and easy-to-manage foundation for its virtual environment. As a result, The Tech gained better performance, stronger data protection, fewer outages, and a more flexible infrastructure, while benefiting from proactive alerts and improved uptime; the organization is also planning future VMware-based desktop virtualization and HA/DR projects with Nexsan.
