UK Government Agency needed a way to monitor multiple secure networks from one central location without risking any data flowing back out of the more sensitive environment. The challenge was to maintain strict confidentiality and meet government security accreditation requirements while still gaining real-time visibility across all networks. Nexor’s Data Diode-based approach, working with HP Operations Manager, was used to address this need.

Nexor implemented upstream and downstream proxies with Nexor Data Diodes to create a guaranteed one-way flow of monitoring data, transparently supporting the agency’s proprietary HP web services protocol over SSL. The solution enabled the UK Government Agency to aggregate audit and monitoring information into a single real-time view, achieve the required accreditation, and later expand the setup with updates, disaster recovery, and high-availability enhancements.
