NATO - Customer Case Study

Nexor worked with NATO, the 28-member defense alliance, which needed a secure email guard capable of handling different message structures and security labels across member states while also allowing other organizations to connect safely. The challenge was to create a trusted solution that could be specified once and used consistently without needing to be re-evaluated for every scenario.

Nexor responded by developing Nexor Sentinel, a flexible email guard that inspects the first line of text for security labels, applies content analysis, and includes virus scanning and appliance deployment for easier accreditation and configuration. The result was a highly secure system that helped NATO prevent human error from causing inappropriate data leakage, improved efficient message handling, and saved time and money by allowing NATO to specify the solution for a subset of email communications; Nexor Sentinel has since been in use at NATO for nearly a decade and adopted more broadly across NATO-related environments.
