The European Navy worked with Nexor to secure military messages sent to and from its sea-going vessels. It needed an email guard that could enforce security policies across different parts of its systems while handling both signed and encrypted messages.

Nexor upgraded the Navy’s existing Nexor Sentinel 2 installations to Nexor Sentinel 3 and added more units, tripling the overall deployment. The solution supported SMTP and X.400 messaging, checked security labels against policy, and arrived pre-installed to reduce deployment time. Nexor’s pre-configured appliances, improved usability, and standard components lowered operational overhead and total cost of ownership, while helping prevent data loss and improve confidence in lifecycle consistency across the fleet.
