A Nexor Case Study
The European Defence Ministry needed a secure way to receive video from cameras deployed in insecure public areas while also allowing operators to pan, tilt, and zoom the cameras from a central control room. Nexor was brought in to solve this challenge, where conventional networking approaches were considered too risky for the ministry’s high-assurance requirements.
Nexor implemented a secure remote video control solution using back-to-back Nexor Data Diodes and Nexor Guardian content filtering to physically separate video inbound traffic from PTZ control outbound traffic. The system enabled secure monitoring from one control room, improved operational efficiency, reduced costs by centralizing monitoring, and supported official accreditation after passing penetration testing.
