A Nexonia Case Study
Pillow Homes is a San Francisco–based technology/hospitality startup (25–50 employees) using Intacct for accounting. The company was spending nearly 60 hours a month manually coding hundreds of transactions, relying on Excel and a non-integrated expense tool—creating delays, errors and a heavy workload for Head of People Operations Meg Escobar.
Pillow implemented Nexonia Expenses (customer since 2016) with direct Intacct integration, daily credit card feeds and PEX support, automating expense capture and coding. The switch freed more than 50% of Meg’s time, enabled weekly imports and more accurate reporting, reduced stress, and delivered better support and a smoother workflow.
