Volvo Group Trucks Technology adds 150 tech talents in 6 programmes with Nexer

Volvo Group Trucks Technology, the global technology development arm of the Volvo Group, faced a dual challenge of managing a major industry transformation to fossil-free solutions and an internal skills shift due to high retirements. They experienced difficulties in recruiting and retaining young technical talent, particularly in areas like electromobility and software development. To address this, they partnered with vendor Nexer Tech Talent.

Nexer implemented a tailored talent program to attract, onboard, and coach new tech talents. The solution provided Volvo with support in employer marketing and talent development. As a result of this partnership with Nexer, six talent programs were launched, injecting up to 150 new tech talents who are now employed by the company, successfully securing valuable new skills and fostering internal cooperation.
