Statigest - Customer Case Study

Statigest, a French CRM software publisher serving over 5,000 users with 50 employees and sites in France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal, faced growing storage limits, reliability problems and long deployment times. Its heterogeneous environment (Solaris, Windows, Linux) using CIFS and NFS constrained operations—only 16 simultaneous database instances were possible—and lacked snapshots and Active Directory integration.

After evaluation, Statigest deployed NexentaStor HA clusters (ZFS-based, SAS disks with mirrored SSD ZIL/LOG) at primary and DR sites to provide unified CIFS/NFS storage, snapshots and replication. The rollout simplified management, scaled quickly (12 TB → 16 TB in minutes), enabled up to 64 concurrent database instances, improved write performance via SSD caching, delivered near-instant disaster recovery and non-disruptive disk replacement, and reduced operational time while lowering overall cost.
