Space2U is a web-hosting provider in northern Sweden serving customers from small businesses to large enterprises with VPS, hosted Exchange and offsite backup. Facing rapidly growing data, a decentralized direct-attached storage environment, low utilization and the need for instant access to mission‑critical data, Space2U needed a scalable, high‑performance storage solution that would support about 15% annual growth while controlling costs.

Space2U implemented a Supermicro-based, NexentaStor-powered HA cluster (two nodes with three JBODs, ZeusRAM/ZeusIOPS caching and L2ARC) to pool and tier storage.
