Revionics is a leading SaaS provider of merchandise optimization and predictive analytics used by thousands of retailers worldwide to manage pricing, promotions and inventory across millions of SKUs. As customer and data volumes grew, the company needed a storage solution that maintained strict SLAs while reducing total cost of ownership, eliminating SAN minimums, and allowing shelf-by-shelf scalability.

Revionics tested and deployed NexentaStor 4.0.4 on Dell PowerEdge servers—starting with a 40TB shelf and later expanding to SSDs and ~220TB raw capacity—and achieved equal or better performance (tested to 40K IOPS) with simpler configuration. The move delivered $120K in initial savings, lower TCO, rapid nondisruptive scalability, improved performance and configurability, and opened the door to new business models for serving remote customers.
