G-Star RAW, the Dutch fashion brand, wanted a better way to build and manage its consumer shopping app without relying on its in-house IT and ecommerce teams for the specialized expertise needed to get it right. The results were strong: the app generated 33% of total ecommerce revenue, converted 7.5x better than the mobile web, and earned a 4.9-star average rating, with nearly half of first-year downloaders making a purchase.
