Environmental Laws coalition needed to rapidly mobilize public input on a time‑limited federal consultation to rebuild Canada’s environmental assessment laws after prior rollbacks. The coalition had to tell a clear story, reach supporters in both official languages and across regions, and make it easy for dozens of partner groups to participate without complex data‑sharing or long onboarding. They partnered with New/Mode, using its One‑Click Email and Letters to the Editor tools to drive outreach.
New/Mode deployed a “cloned campaign” of custom landing pages for each partner, each embedded with New/Mode’s email‑your‑rep and letters‑to‑the‑editor tools, and promoted via email, social and targeted Facebook ads. The campaign generated 40,000+ letters to representatives, 10,000+ calls, over 60 action websites created by 30+ groups, and an average conversion rate of 66%. Partners were able to join and deploy quickly, and the growing network remains positioned to act as the law review continues.
