The customer, Connect and Protect, needed to position the Florida Keys as a global leader in responsible tourism. NewmanPR was engaged to launch an initiative focused on sustainability and motivating visitors to participate in experiential and environmental activities.
NewmanPR implemented the "Connect and Protect" campaign using strategies like themed press trips, social media videos, and a consumer contest. The results were highly successful, generating tens of millions of impressions and leading to the highest occupancy rates among 14 Florida markets, with Key West reaching 84.2% and room rates increasing by 3.9%.
