CAF, Development Bank of Latin America, needed help clarifying its role and leadership in a region where the IDB had greater standing and its communications were seen as too technical and not human enough. Newlink supported CAF with reputation management and public affairs, using strategic consulting, executive positioning, media relations, branding, production, digital, and social media services to help position CAF as the development bank of Latin America for Latin America.
Newlink implemented an ongoing reputation management and proactive executive leadership program, humanizing CAF’s message, strengthening Enrique García’s leadership profile, and creating content and campaigns such as Conversing with CAF, Faces of Development, and Impact Capsules. The results included 117 press releases, 62 interviews, 13 opinion columns, 311 videos, 1,496 creative pieces, and major social reach, including 61.5 million Facebook impressions, 1.5 million website visits from traffic campaigns, 163,102 views on Facebook Live, and more than 83,290 views for Conversing with CAF videos.
