University of South Florida, a large global research university in the United States, needed a better way for its administration offices and classrooms to collaborate. Newline Interactive was brought in to help address the need for more efficient meetings, easier video-conferencing, and a flexible teaching tool that would not restrict professors’ choice of software or teaching style, using the TRUTOUCH X series.

Newline Interactive implemented multiple TRUTOUCH X7 and TRUTOUCH X5 unified collaboration systems across campus, including administration offices and classrooms. The all-in-one displays with built-in wide-angle cameras and echo-cancelling microphones improved video quality and sound for conferences, while the non-proprietary platform gave users full access to their files and applications. As a result, collaboration and meeting efficiency increased, whiteboarding and video-conferencing became easy with little to no training, and the university plans to add even more TRUTOUCH X series displays in the future.
