A Newline Interactive Case Study
Texas A&M University, one of the largest universities in the United States, needed a better way to support collaboration across its wide campus and statewide network. The College of Engineering was looking for a non-proprietary solution that would let students, faculty, and visiting experts use their preferred software and devices, while also reducing the time and cost of bringing remote participants to campus.
Newline Interactive implemented multiple TRUTOUCH X5 and X7 unified collaboration systems across conference and study rooms. The TRUFlat touchscreen and built-in non-proprietary computer made it easy for users to plug in any device and collaborate without training, and Texas A&M reported improved access to preferred software, easier communication with remote experts and grad students, and lower time and travel costs. The university also planned to standardize on the TRUTOUCH X7 across campus classrooms and meeting rooms.
