Schmidt Associates, a full-service architecture and engineering firm, faced information management challenges on the Indianapolis Consolidated Civil and Criminal Courthouse project, where multiple teams had to collaborate across Autodesk BIM 360, Procore, and Newforma Project Center. The firm needed a centralized way to share project information, meet digital data requirements, and reduce the burden of finding and moving files across different systems.

Using Newforma Project Center with Autodesk BIM 360 and Procore connectors, Newforma helped Schmidt Associates create a single source of truth for project records and automate file sharing, submittals, and RFIs. The results included saving about one hour per day on model copying, eliminating double entry, and reducing one staff member’s administrative workload by five to eight hours per week.
