HMFH Architects Streamlines Coordination with Newforma Konekt’s BIM Track Module

HMFH Architects, a women-owned firm known for K-12 design excellence, was lead designer for the Josiah Quincy Upper School, a new 650-student high-rise in Boston’s Chinatown. As the project moved from construction documentation into construction, coordination between designers, contractors, and consultants became a major challenge. To bridge the gap between project managers and team members using authoring tools like Revit, Enscape, and Navisworks, HMFH’s Technology Innovation Leader Devin Canton introduced Newforma Konekt’s BIM Track module into the workflow.

Using Newforma Konekt’s cloud-based BIM Track—featuring action-item/issue management and a 2D/3D viewer—teams shared real-time information, tracked issues, and maintained a comprehensive issue history. The result: far fewer coordination meetings, faster issue resolution, improved stakeholder collaboration, and hundreds of hours saved, helping keep the project on schedule and within budget for its planned 2024 opening.
