A Newbridge Case Study

Preview of the France Télévisions Case Study

France Télévisions - Customer Case Study

France Télévisions, the French national public television broadcaster, needed a way for journalists and documentalists to manage the massive volume of video content they receive and shoot every day. Newbridge, then known as Moments Lab, provided its cognitive AI video indexing platform to help the team quickly explore, browse, and search live and archived content.

Newbridge implemented a multimodal AI solution combining facial recognition, object and scene detection, audio transcription, and semantic search, with all content centralized in the cloud in real time. The platform was first rolled out to 50 journalists, reporters, editors, and documentalists, then expanded to live feeds, speeding up logging, archiving, editing, and content discovery while improving story-making and investigative workflows.
