MakeMyTrip, one of India's largest online travel platforms, faced the challenge of modernizing its technology foundation to support fluctuating demand and seasonal traffic surges. Operating across 1,500 servers in two on-premise data centers, the company needed a more scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure. They partnered with vendor TO THE NEW to migrate their application landscape to the AWS cloud.

TO THE NEW executed a large-scale migration to AWS, utilizing a rehost strategy and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. The solution included AWS Auto Scaling, Spot Instances, and Blue-Green deployments. This transformation resulted in 99.99% infrastructure availability, the ability to handle up to 1 million daily requests, and a significantly improved release cadence, all while reducing operational overhead and infrastructure costs.
