Winter Park Construction, a Florida-based commercial construction company, wanted to modernize its operations while improving site access control, worker safety compliance, and equipment tracking across multiple job sites. To solve these challenges, New Signature worked with Microsoft technologies including Azure IoT Suite and Power BI to replace manual checklists and badge tracking with a more connected, data-driven approach.

New Signature built a prototype RFID reader solution that streamed data into Azure IoT services for real-time analysis, storage, alerts, and visualization. The result was automated attendance logs, instant text/email notifications for unauthorized access or safety issues, and a live Power BI dashboard showing who was on-site and where. This helped Winter Park improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, strengthen safety oversight, and better manage equipment and project timelines.
