GSC on th​​e Go is an enterprise mobile app that delivers key member features for mobility

Green Shield Canada (GSC) needed an enterprise mobile app that could serve its 300,000+ members across Windows, Android, and iOS without multiplying development costs, and with all versions launching on the same day. New Signature partnered with GSC to build “GSC on the Go,” using a cross-platform mobile approach to deliver a single solution for multiple devices and app stores.

New Signature used Xamarin and Microsoft Visual Studio to create a shared .NET codebase in C#, enabling native app experiences across iPhone, iPad, Android phone/tablet, Windows 8, and Windows Phone 8. The result was a successful launch across 6 kinds of devices and 4 app stores in 1 day, giving members mobile access to benefits information, claims submission, provider search, ID cards, and drug coverage details.
