Computershare needed a better way for corporate secretaries and directors to create, manage, and distribute board materials securely and efficiently across mobile devices. New Signature developed BoardWorks, a mobile board-portal solution for Computershare’s Governance Services, designed to improve communication and make board papers easier to access before, during, and after meetings.

With New Signature’s BoardWorks app, Computershare gained a fully native iPad experience with multi-board management, offline access, annotation, surveys, and voting, all supported by encryption, two-factor authentication, role-based security, and secure hosting. The result was a more intuitive and secure user experience that helps increase directors’ adoption of electronic board papers, though the case study does not provide specific numeric performance results.
