Stoller-Navarro Joint Venture (SNJV), an environmental engineering partnership between S.M. Stoller Corporation and Navarro Research and Engineering, struggled to keep 248 PCs up to date across a WAN with a small IT staff. Because many machines were in heavy use or at remote sites, IT could be blocked from accessing systems for weeks, leaving desktops without critical patches and current application versions; their previous tool, Sitekeeper, proved inadequate.

SNJV selected New Boundary Technologies’ Prism Suite (Prism Asset Manager, Prism Deploy and Prism Patch Manager) for its offline configuration capabilities, license tracking and automated deployment. Using Prism Suite they maintain a standard image, push patches and reinstall applications over the network in minutes (often resolving issues in about 15 minutes), improve security and asset visibility, and avoided hiring additional administration staff.
