Case Study: Walmart sparks museum creativity with NEVERBLAND’s interactive Spark Generator

A NEVERBLAND Case Study

Preview of the Walmart Case Study

Walmart creates 32,000 Sparks in two months with NEVERBLAND

Walmart required a new interactive exhibit for its renovated museum in Bentonville, Arkansas. The challenge was to create a generative tool that would allow visitors to craft their own unique artworks, or 'Sparks', within the Walmart brand world. The vendor, NEVERBLAND, was brought in to collaborate on this digital product.

NEVERBLAND developed a custom application using Next.js and Electron, which ran on touchscreen Windows machines at the museum. This solution enabled visitors to create a Spark, see it displayed on a large LED screen, and print it to take home. The project was a resounding success for NEVERBLAND and Walmart, with over 32,000 Sparks created in the first two months and approximately 4,000 being made each week.
