Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Passport Tracking & AFIS System

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment needed to accurately identify citizens working abroad and eliminate passport fraud. The system integrator, Cenmetrix, addressed this challenge by developing a solution powered by Neurotechnology's MegaMatcher fingerprint matching technology.

Cenmetrix implemented the CenAFIS system, an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) built using the MegaMatcher SDK. This solution automated the enrollment and real-time verification of workers at airports and embassies, processing over 100,000 enrollments and providing identification results in under five seconds. The successful deployment by Neurotechnology's partner provided a secure, efficient, and scalable national-level system for Sri Lanka.
