Mexico Tax Agency Uses Multi-Biometric Enrollment System

The customer, Mexico's tax collection agency, required a fast and highly accurate multi-biabetic identification system to enroll taxpayers and eliminate duplicate registrations in its national database to prevent fraud and tax evasion. For this SAIE program, integrator Vangent Mexico, working with Biometria Aplicada, implemented a solution using Neurotechnology's MegaMatcher Accelerator technology.

The solution was the Multi-Biometric Enrollment System (MBES), powered by Neurotechnology's MegaMatcher Accelerator on six servers. It processed iris, face, and fingerprint data to validate and de-duplicate enrollments. The system successfully enrolled over 3.5 million taxpayers, processing up to 4,000 requests daily, and helped ensure database accuracy for the national program.
