Case Study: The Fortune Society achieves holistic, data-driven client services and streamlined system integrations with Neuron ESB

A Neuron ESB Case Study

Preview of the The Fortune Society Case Study

Integrating data to better champion services for individuals and families whose lives are impacted by the criminal justice system

The Fortune Society, a nonprofit that helps formerly incarcerated people re-enter their communities, serves more than 6,000 clients with a $28M budget and offers integrated services across housing, health, employment and education. It needed to consolidate data from many internal and external systems (including EHRs and state exchanges) to meet reporting and reimbursement requirements, streamline grant funding, and gain a holistic, timely view of client needs and outcomes.

They deployed Neuron ESB, a right-sized, .NET-optimized integration hub that routes and transforms data, centralizes client records into a data warehouse, and powers BI dashboards. The implementation produced repeatable, scalable integrations with state and agency systems, improved reimbursement and reporting compliance, strengthened client–program connections, and delivered executive-level visibility to guide service expansion and advocacy.
