“TV star” Hospital Uses Netwrix Auditor to Secure 10,000-User Network

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, one of London’s largest teaching hospitals serving over 12,000 staff on a Microsoft-based network of ~1,000 servers, struggled to manually monitor thousands of daily Active Directory events across seven domain controllers. With 50 trusted administrators and highly sensitive patient, clinical and HR data, the Trust needed an automated auditing solution to improve security and meet compliance requirements.

After a proof-of-concept, King’s chose Netwrix Auditor for its thoroughness and ease of setup (under an hour). Netwrix now delivers automated daily reports and real-time alerts that show who changed what, when and from which machine, improving visibility, changing administrator behavior, reducing security risks, aiding external audits, and prompting plans to expand auditing to the Trust’s SAN and file servers.
