The Georgia Lottery, which has returned more than $17 billion to education and operates statewide through eight district offices and over 8,700 retailers, needed to protect players’ PII and confidential retailer data. With about 350 user accounts — including employees, contractors and privileged administrators — the Information Security team required continuous monitoring and real‑time alerts for critical changes across Active Directory, SQL Server, SharePoint and Exchange.
