La Mayenne Department, a government agency serving more than 308,000 residents in northwest France, needed to simplify user account management, improve visibility into access rights, and reduce the manual effort required for provisioning and role changes. The department also had to meet strict contractual, GDPR, and security requirements while managing identities efficiently for its workforce.
Netwrix implemented Netwrix Identity Manager to automate onboarding, role changes, and departures, while keeping administrator and regular user accounts separate. The SaaS solution reduced maintenance time through automatic updates, improved access control and compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001 standards, and gave the department immediate access to new functionality, helping it better manage identities across 1,570 employees and 170 professions.
