Portuguese Historical Museum moves much of its content to the cloud with Network Software Services

The Portuguese Historical Museum sought to move into the digital era by creating a modern touchscreen application and a cloud-based content management system for its visitors. They engaged Network Software Services to build a solution that would allow them to beautifully present and easily manage various types of archival content, including images, video, text, and audio.

Network Software Services designed a cloud-based solution with a colocated server to handle high-bandwidth content. The implemented CMS gave the museum full control to add and edit their own information. As a result, the Portuguese Historical Museum successfully moved its content to the cloud, making it accessible to the public while ensuring it was safely backed up. The digital touchscreen added a forward-looking feel that fits within San Jose's tech-centric museum landscape.
