A NetSupport Case Study
The Beeches Primary School in Peterborough is a highly diverse primary school with 630 pupils, many of whom speak English as a second language. The school needed a way to keep students safe online while still encouraging exploration and research, and it also wanted to support its Prevent Duty obligations. To meet these needs, the school turned to NetSupport DNA, alongside NetSupport’s classroom management tools.
With NetSupport DNA, The Beeches Primary School gained safeguarding, monitoring, and classroom management in one easy-to-use solution. Staff use it to track key phrases, monitor website activity, group and observe vulnerable students, and produce evidence reports for governors, while teachers benefit from features such as Q&A Mode, website allow/restrict lists, screen sharing, and blanking or locking student devices. NetSupport’s support team was praised for quick, clear help, and the school reported stronger confidence in its safeguarding approach, future-proofing its provision, and multi-lingual keyword monitoring that helps protect even more students.
