Ubique Group, a US-based furniture and décor merchandiser with over 4,000 core products (rising to 100,000+ sellable SKUs when combinations and customer-specific items are included), was hampered by massive Excel forecasts that couldn’t handle seasonality or the SKU-, customer- and location-level granularity required across multiple distribution centers and a customized Salesforce.com ERP. To solve this, Ubique Group selected Netstock and its Netstock Predictor solution.
Netstock integrated with Ubique Group’s data tables and deployed Netstock Predictor to deliver granular, seasonally aware forecasting and to correct irregular history for rapid demand shifts. The Netstock implementation improved forecast accuracy, reduced operating inventory on active products by around $10 million, and increased customer fill rate by over 15%.
