The Little Potato Company, a US-based creamer potato producer with three production facilities and eight distribution centers, was growing rapidly and struggling with Excel-based planning. Manual forecasting, lack of granular customer history, and pandemic-driven demand anomalies made allocating stock across locations and setting safety stock unsustainable, so they turned to Netstock and its integration with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Netstock was implemented (initially with Dynamics NAV, later Business Central) to provide statistical safety-stock modeling, forecast smoothing, DC-to-facility links and BOM-level planning. The Netstock solution boosted TLPC’s fill rate from 90.9% to 98% (an over 8% improvement), streamlined processes, reduced stock-outs and excess, and set the company up to adopt Netstock’s finite capacity planning next.
