A NetSPI Case Study
EAB Global, a higher education and corporate markets organization based in Washington, D.C., struggled to identify assets and vulnerabilities across a rapidly changing attack surface. With multiple disconnected tools for endpoints, mobile devices, servers, and vulnerability management, the team needed a faster way to understand what they had, what was at risk, and the context behind it. They turned to NetSPI and its Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) solution.
NetSPI implemented CAASM as a single source of truth, integrating EAB Global’s EDR, MDM, and other tools to centralize asset and vulnerability visibility. The result was faster risk identification, better contextualization for analysts and executives, and improved handling of shadow IT. Measurably, EAB Global was able to identify 43 impacted systems from the CrowdStrike incident within 15 seconds and quickly find 20 users running an unapproved vulnerable VPN application.
