A Netskope Case Study
Dentsu Digital, founded in 2016 as the digital marketing arm of Dentsu Group, needed to enable employees to safely use a wide variety of cloud services. Their perimeter-based network had become a breeding ground for shadow IT and lacked real-time visibility across diverse endpoints (PCs, smartphones), so the information systems team rebuilt the network on zero-trust principles and sought an agent-based CASB with minimal performance impact and real-time monitoring.
They deployed Netskope CASB and Netskope Advanced Analytics (using the Cloud Confidence Index) to visualize and assess cloud usage, which quickly revealed more than 500 cloud apps in use. The solution delivered continuous visibility, objective risk ratings, and better vendor alignment—enabling safer cloud adoption, supporting business growth, and informing next steps like improved visualization, automated reporting, and standardized feedback loops.
