A NETRONIC Case Study

Preview of the MEYER WERFT Case Study

With visual planning Meyer Werft gained more efficiency by constant level of staff

Meyer Werft, a German shipyard with an international reputation for building sophisticated passenger ships, faced the challenge of managing an increasing number of complex, time-sensitive planning processes for its cruise liner production. To address this, they worked with the vendor NETRONIC to integrate the VARCHART JGantt tool into their existing project management system for visual process control.

The solution implemented by NETRONIC provided an interactive, visual planning board that functionally joined previously separate procedural steps. This allowed Meyer Werft's planners to illustrate and schedule a great number of single processes much faster, leading to greater efficiency in the workflow schedule. NETRONIC's tool enabled the company to meet recent challenges in terms of quality and quantity without needing to increase their staff level.
