Case Study: nector improves short-term order planning with NETRONIC's HTML5 Gantt control add-in

The company's customers can now accept short-term orders more efficiently

nector, a provider of pest control software built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, needed a visual planning board to give its customers better overview of staff assignments and free capacities for short-term orders. They approached NETRONIC for a solution but required a high degree of flexibility to connect to their individual business logic, which ruled out using a standard scheduling product.

NETRONIC developed a customized HTML5 Gantt control add-in with a C/AL API specifically for nector’s Pestsoft solution. The result was a highly functional planning tool that brought transparency to the dispatching process, allowing planners to drag and drop orders onto resources. The solution, built for the NAV Web Client, enabled nector's customers to accept short-term orders much more efficiently and provided a significant benefit to their software offering.
